OPTI-GUARD™ sets the standard for extremely low impact, easy to use pre-column protection. Designed for use with analytical (4.6, 3.0 mm i.d.) and narrow-bore (2.1, 1.0 mm i.d.) columns, the patented floating stem design automatically adjusts to any manufacturer's tube stop depth for a zero-dead-volume connection every time. The best part? It's no larger than a standard fitting. Connecting the OPTI-GUARD™ requires no extra tubing, maintaining the minimal impact philosophy that has made the OPTI-GUARD™ line so popular. The Hand-Tight EXP™ Trap Column is rated to 20,000+ psi. This unique design connects directly to any injection valve (with 10-32 threads) or in-line with 1/16” tubing for unparalleled convenience and efficiency. The EXP™ System enables chemists to quickly remove detergents or salts which can affect the ionization process in MS work. This trapping technique can concentrate the sample directly on-line, allowing for increased recovery of precious sample material compared to off-line techniques. Free-Turn™ architecture allows users to change cartridges by hand without breaking fluid connections on the holder inlet/outlet.
